REGISTRATION
1. Registration Required: All students are asked to submit a registration form prior to attending a lesson, including a free trial lesson. A $50 registration fee is due prior to the student attending his/her first paid lesson. Registration is deemed complete, and the student enrolled, once the registration form and registration fee are submitted to, and accepted by, The Prime School of Mathematics. A child’s position in a class is not held until registration is complete.
2. Schedule Changes: Although every effort is made to accommodate students, we reserve the right to cancel a class, or postpone the formation of a new one, due to insufficient enrollment.

DISCOUNTS
1. Sibling Discounts: Families with two children enrolled receive a 10% discount on each class attended. Families with three or more children enrolled receive a 20% discount on each class attended. Siblings who enroll for the first time receive an additional 50% off their first four paid classes. Sibling discounts may not be combined with other offers or discounts.
2. Referral Discounts: Do you love The Prime School of Mathematics? Tell your friends and neighbors about us! All new students who list a currently enrolled family as having referred them on their registration form will receive a 50% discount on their first four paid lessons, and the referring family will receive a $50 tuition rebate for each paid referral registration we receive. Referral discounts may not be combined with other offers or discounts.
3. Financial Aid: Financial aid is available for families with limited incomes. To apply for the Fall 2011 semester, photocopy the page from your 2010 federal tax return that states your Adjusted Gross Income, and send it to: The Prime School of Mathematics; Attn: Scholarships; 4625 Alexander Drive, Suite 120; Alpharetta, GA 30022. Social security numbers may be omitted. If you receive child support or other assistance not reflected in your Adjusted Gross Income, please include a signed letter stating the amount of assistance received.
BILLING
1. Monthly Billing: Tuition is billed monthly. Your monthly bill will vary depending on how many times your child’s class meets in a particular month. The initial tuition payment is due before the start of your child’s first paid lesson. Subsequent payments are due by the 1st day of each month.
2. Late Payment: If a monthly tuition payment is not received by the 10th day of the month, a $20 late payment fee will be assessed, and the student will not be permitted to attend until the payment is received.
3. Late Pick-up: Parents who pick up their child more than 15 minutes after the scheduled end of class will be assessed a late pick-up fee of $1.00 for each minute beyond the initial 15 minutes that they are late.
4. Tutoring: Individual tutoring, when available, is billed at a rate of $50 for a 1-hour session, $72.50 for a 1.5-hour session, $92.50 for a 2-hour session, $110 for a 2.5-hour session, and $125 for a 3-hour session.
ATTENDANCE
1. Scheduled Lessons: Scheduled lessons take place according to the Prime School’s calendars.
2. Missed Lessons: When a student misses a lesson, we email the lesson packet to the parents. If available, the student may attend a different session of his/her course at no additional cost. If the student has difficulty learning the material covered in the lesson packet, teachers are available 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after each regularly scheduled lesson to provide free instruction to students who need extra help. If additional instruction is needed, parents may contact the school to schedule a make-up tutoring session. Make-up tutoring sessions are billed at the same rates as individual tutoring sessions (see above). If two or more students attend the same make-up tutoring session, they may share the cost of the session. In addition, half the tuition paid for the missed lesson may be applied toward the cost of the make-up tutoring session.
3. Religious Holidays: In the past, we tried not to schedule classes on major religious holidays. Ultimately, it became too difficult to decide which of the world’s numerous religions to consider when setting the calendar or which of their holidays were “major” ones. Now, we simply set the school’s calendar to, more or less, follow the calendars of neighboring school districts. We leave it up to each family to decide for themselves which of their religious holidays warrant missing a lesson; and we do not charge families for absences due to religious observances, provided they let us know at the start of the semester or at the time of registration that their child will not attend class that day.
4. Inclement Weather: When inclement weather conditions are likely, parents should call the office to determine if their child’s lesson will be held that day. If conditions severe enough to close the school occur, you will be notified when the make-up lesson will be held. Ultimately, it is up to each parent or guardian to decide whether or not to keep their child at home, or to pick their child up early, when threatening weather approaches.
5. Parental Supervision: The Prime School of Mathematics does not assume responsibility for students other than during their lessons. It is the parents’ responsibility to accompany their child to and from each lesson. Parents are solely responsible for their child prior to the start of his/her lesson and immediately after it ends.
